Well, it's official: MacGyver has survived the test of time! It has entered into the realm of cultural references. The McDonald's commercial just had this woman trying to figure out to get her kids to leave the playground, and in the little ditty she thought "What would MacGyver do?"

You know I loved that show growing up, but I saw an episode of it last year, and was pretty disappointed. It was MacGyver against the red ants. Still, I think it was just a bad episode.

Speaking of which, I'm definitely enjoying this cable TV thing. It's a darn good thing that I like my living situation. I have cable TV in my room so I can lay in bed and watch TV. And even if I didn't my roommated and I have pretty similar tastes in movies and shows, apparently. And I'm definitely glad to get out of the rush of the city every evening. I don't think I could handle it if I was living there.
